Hey, I'm Het.

Hey, I'm Het.

Most portfolio websites start with a polished paragraph about being a passionate designer who loves solving problems. While that's true, I think the story behind how I got here is far more interesting.

let me take you through the journey that shaped me—from a curious kid fascinated by computers, to an engineering student exploring different paths, and eventually to finding my place in the world of product design.

Outside of work, I'm someone who enjoys learning, exploring new experiences, traveling, Listen Music, and constantly pushing myself to grow. I believe every experience teaches something valuable, and that mindset has shaped both my life and career.

A Little Story,

A Little Story,

Technology has always been a big part of my life. As a kid, I was fascinated by mobile phones, computers, and anything digital. That curiosity eventually led me to choose Computer Engineering in 2021, believing it would help me turn that interest into a career.

Once I started college, I explored every opportunity to learn. I experimented with different programming languages, tried frontend development, worked on AI and machine learning projects, and spent countless hours understanding how software is built. Every new subject taught me something valuable, but I still felt like I was searching for the area that truly excited me.

Interestingly, creativity had always been present in my life too. During my school years, I was deeply interested in architecture and interior design. I loved observing layouts, structures, and how thoughtful design could influence the way people experience spaces. At the time, I didn't realize that this creative side would eventually connect with my passion for technology.

Everything changed during my third year of engineering when I was introduced to the Software Development Life Cycle. For the first time, I learned that building a product wasn't only about development—there was an entire process dedicated to understanding users, solving problems, and designing experiences before a single line of code was written.

That discovery immediately caught my attention. The more I explored, the more I realized that UI/UX Design brought together everything I enjoyed: creativity, technology, problem-solving, and human behavior. For the first time, I felt like I had found a field that naturally matched both my interests and strengths.

Curious to learn more, I enrolled in Google's UX Design program and began studying design fundamentals. Around the same time, I started learning Figma, exploring design systems, user flows, wireframing, and product thinking. What started as curiosity quickly became a passion, and I found myself spending hours learning, practicing, and imagining the possibilities of a career in design.

Got First Internship

My first step into the industry came through Exampad, a platform for UPSC aspirants, where I joined as a UI/UX Design Intern. Working closely with the CEO, I designed dashboards, user flows, and product features while learning how real products are researched, planned, and built for actual users.

Alongside my design journey, I completed my Computer Engineering degree with a CGPA of 7.90. By the time I graduated, what started as curiosity had turned into a clear career path, and I was ready to pursue design professionally.

Since then, I've continued growing through every project and experience. With each challenge, I expand my skills, refine my thinking, and keep pushing myself to become a better designer and a better version of myself.
